Basic HTML editor

I'm looking for a very simple html editor that a very novice user can use to create a simple html page. I run a safelist that has html capabilities and want to provide a very basic (hopefully web-based) editor for the members to create an html email for their ads. If there is an editor that I can offer them to Download at no cost that would be great too.
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks,
AndyMost operating systems already come with a simple free editor...
Windows = Notepad.
I can't remember what the one is called that a Mac comes with.My friend.. check this out, this is my new favourite HTML editor, and it will stay that way.
You have to know html to use it, it is a real time HTML editor (just like the name says), is as simple as it can get, it is web based (IE based), and free. You can save it on your computer, and you can also post it (upload it) on the web so it can be used while online. Here is the link (address): http://www.squarefree.com/htmledit/I'll have to check that other one out too :P Anyway, i dont know what it is like (never got around to learning the program before), but you might like to check out http://www.chami.com/html-kit/ :)The first html editor I ever used was 1st page and it was pretty good.
