I redesigned my entire site using dreamweaver. I designed a templateand have all of my pages using that template.I did this so that every page would have the same links to the same places. In theory I was hoping that for every page I did it would be another backward link to all of my other pages thus creating a huge amount of links to all of my pages. This would gradually boost all of my pages ranks. Here is the thing right now I only have 16 backward links. After the last backlink update I dropped some. I have also always been told only pages that are pr4 would show in the backlinks but all of the pages I have listed now are mostly pr3 or even pr2. Anyhow I would like someone to explain whats going on with my site and if I am doing something wrong.I almost wondered if this is tied to googles crazy trends that have been happening. I know there hasnt been a pr update in a long time and that people are swearing pr is dead!Let me know!Dougyou cannot generate your own pr, only transfer itto get pr you have to be linked from outside sourcesThat cant be true. How would you explain this.http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... t%2Ecom%2F Dougthat site has inbound links from other sitesif you create a site with no inbound links from other sites that can transfer pr, but have tons of internal links, all the pr on all the pages will be 0floridafishandhunt.com wrote:In theory that is not entirely correct ...A fully meshed site with all pages pointing to all other pages on the site would generate a PR-1 for all pages (assuming no external links). However, what you should do is create a menu structure that concentrates your PR into the most important (indexed) pages of your site ... usually the home page. Then build up your backlinks .... to increase your PRrtchar wrote:
