Backlinks: Which PR?

What does Google look at, the PR of the referring sites homepage - or the PR of the page on which the link sits?e.g. If the homepage of the site linking to me is PR3 and the links page where my site will be listed is PR1 - do I get credited with a backlink from a PR3 site or PR1 site?The page its on.Not that it matters though. PR is a useless number, It doesn't mean anything.In the real-world (I believe there is one) I agree it doesn't, but it is kinda fun - no?yeah it is fun, I do like seeing the green bar go up when there is an update.
