Hi,Building a massive amount of links in a short period of time triggers google to put your site in their sandbox. Does anytone here knows the maximum number of backlinks should I add per day to avoid google's sandbox?nobody really knows.Just do it slowly for a really new domain? Not more than 100 per Month!im more conservative maybe a little paranoid but i think you shouldnt add more then 100 back links to your site per google update thats every 3 - 4 months. Darrell--VitaNet(R)thanks for the advice, i was getting backlinks at a pretty quick rate but i think il slow down now100 backlinks per month? where did that come from?I can bring 300-450 different Backlinks per month, is no Problem! Its my job, but for new domains not more than 100!i dont know how google decide to push the sites into the sandbox exactly but i do know we have been stuck with sandbox more than 4 months which was caused us to loose all of our believes however we have returned to our ranking keywords better than before. When you come in a Sandbox it is possible fast come out with only one Authority Backlink, i had tested this one more than one time!Yambot wrote:It means when you bacome a backlink from Dmoz.org or other very popular sites like cnn.com.Ok I will try to explain! Links from Authority WebsitesIf you have a new website, the fastest and easiest way for it to get in all the major search engine indexes is to buy links from authority websites. A few strong text links from relevant websites will get your site in the major search engine indexes literally overnight. Why? Because as the search engines spider these websites, they will follow the link to your site and spider your content. A high powered authority website will often get spidered 100s or 1,000s of times a day. So the stronger, more authoritative the site is that links to your site, the more that site gets spidered and indexed, meaning the more your site will get spidered and indexed by all the major search engines.Something just does not sound right here ...I think you have to ask yourself some basic questions. Are these links legitimate? Are they relevant? In my opinion too much focus is being placed on raw numbers. Are 1000 sitewide links (on one site) worth more than 1 home page link? To me they should both count as a single vote.If a site becomes news worthy and gets 1000's of links in a single day, should it rank lower? Should a brand new site start out with 5000 links on the very first day?I will continue linking pretty much the same way I always have. Google is trying to eliminate SPAM. If you are comfortable with what you are doing --- the numbers don't matter.Yambot wrote:
