I have a simple question:
Are having backlinks in RSS feeds (high pagerank, well known domain) have any SEO value or no? Yes they are definitealy worth having! Its a yes for me because RSS is a great way to get backlinks and traffic as well. I have found the RSS links do lead to traffic and an easy way for backlinks you will find a great increase in your traffic if you have submitted your site to the RSS directories . Ofcourse the pr juice will be carried over from the rss link.. I don't value RSS as much because the links come from duplicate content. Gotta say yes just for the number of scrapers out there who are going to be using those RSS feeds on their own sites. You'll get at least some juice out of it. I would think copyright protection as well. RSS is more natural for search engines than spammy link exchanges. It's hard to know really. a link in a RSS feed is a temporary thing. Here one day, done tomorrow. RSS feeds do seem to stimulate search engines though. For RSS feeds, there are a lot of sites which scrape and repost as is. So it is a good policy to drop your target keywords and links before you end your posts. Not all the scrapers will get rid of links so you will get some link juice from wherever they are reposting. They are worthy and has SEo effect.
