Hi - I'm new here and have a few questions about backlinking. 1. I tried using the PR tool at http://www.prsearch.net , and it told me the site that I submitted had 49 backlinks. However, it only showed 2 of these on the page, and I couldn't use the navigation between results pages (it seems to have a few bugs in it) 2. Someone referred to a similar site/tool by an acronym (PROG) - can someone please post a URL for this, so I can give it a try? 3. When I use the link: http://www.mysite.com command at google, it gives me a much shorter list than I would have expected for my site(s)... are the results here the ONLY sites google considers when assigning PR, or are they just a subset? Any and all help is appreciated.Your links are prolly not updated by google yet and thats why your backlinks are not showing as yet. in google i mean.. when you use link:www.domainname.comtry finding prog link using a search in ozzu.here's the prog link: http://webmasterbrain.com/prog/Google's backlinks are way off when compared to what they used to show or what shows on other search engines. How about one of your API wizards create a tool that gets backlinks from yahoo...but looks up thier PR in google....should be easy for those of you who know how to use the API Thanx guys.
