The primary reason I was upgrading a template for a friend was so I could use CSS instead of background images inside of tables that varied in size from page to page. My plan worked great with one table cell but on the second one, although Opera shows it and everything appears to be correct inside of Dreamweaver, nothing shows up in IE or Netscape.
I tried using both .gif and .jpg, renaming the class and images, deleting the page background, trying different table tags and moving the CSS tags to other tables but I just can't fix it - what is driving me nuts is that it is working on one cell but even when I copied the CSS tags for the cell that is showing up ok, it still wouldn't show the image in the problem cell.
Any help would be appreciated - the template is at:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.designeratheart.com/pt/template2.html">http://www.designeratheart.com/pt/template2.html</a><!-- m -->
and the style sheet is at: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.designeratheart.com/pt/pandt.css">http://www.designeratheart.com/pt/pandt.css</a><!-- m -->
Its the big blank space on the left side ;-)
Thanks in advance
aliThis is a mess of tables, 27 in all !!
If you must use tables, which is not recommended, one table is all you would need.First of all, if you don't have an answer to a problem, don't reply by insulting the person who asked the question - that just makes you the master of stupidity.
Secondly, as I said, this was a page being updated - it isn't one I work on or regularly maintain - so the number of tables wasn't my doing or, for the moment, my concern.
But guess what, Master? Even with only a couple of tables on the page, the problem remains - thanks for nothing.Your page is not displaying correctly.
