Back Button goes back twice w/ Iframe

Ok, this is driving me bloody nuts. I've got a webpage that has an IFrame. One other pages that I've built and that I find on the internet, if you press the <BACK> button on the page, the page backs out of whatever you've done in the IFRAME leaving the containing page where it is unless you're at the beginning of the iframe.history object. Click it again, it continues to go back.<br />
<br />
However, I'm working on a site using this same set up. But whenever I hit the back button it appears to take me back twice, or perhaps it's backing up on the containing page as opposed to the inset frame. The end result is that the user comes to the site, clicks on a button to change the iframe source, decides he didn't want to go there so he hits the back button which changes THE ENTIRE PAGE to whatever site he was at before mine. <br />

I am stumped! and Frustrated! Anybody know why this happens, or how it can be controlled?<!--content-->url or code would be nice :)<!--content-->
