Can someone please tell me what (for example) 96+3 means next to Googlebot (a robot/spider) in Awstats?I know the 3 means # hits on my robots.txt file - but does that mean Googlebot has visited 3 separate times in total or can it hit robots.txt more than once in any given crawl?What does th 96 mean? 96 pages indexed, 96 hits, or something else? Are these 96 unique pages/hits or repeat ones?Thanks for any clarification! I dont know for sure, but i would assume it meant 3 sperate bots requested 96 pages in total.Each bot is listed on a separate line with its own unique **+* stat beside them - e.g.Code: [ Select ]It looks as though 3 different google bots requested 96 pages, 6 seperate MSN bots requested 16 pages and 1 inktomi bot requested 122 pages.May be a dumb question here, but when a bot requests a page does it automatically get indexed? If not what does it do with it? It all depends. They usually index all pages, as long as they can get to them, they aren't duplicate and they conform to any other standards they have.It wont be indexed straight away though.Thanks meman
