Avatars Problem

I got complaints from 2 members and i dont know who else had this problem
but i am using vB3.7.3 and 2 of the ppl on my forum tried to upload avy's and it would tell them done
but it doesnt show it and it gets deleted somehow
i checked admincp, no problem, all options are correct, templates are good

even others who have avatars their avatars show, one person said he had to retry 3 or 4 times until it showed

what could be the problem

any suggestions ?

Change your usergroups picture uploading permissions.

Mine personally is set to:

Custom Avatar Maximum Width (pixels) 100
Custom Avatar Maximum Height (pixels) 100
Custom Avatar Maximum File Size (bytes) 200000

If you think this is too high tell your members to reduce the size of their images by using tinypic.com

You get more problems with gif's tho.

i got my settings set to high values

width = 250
height = 180
size = 500 000

but also when i uploaded a larger in dimentions image as an avatar, the forum resized it automatically

i also allowed animated avy's

those settings are for all usergroups

i tested it and there was no problems, but 2 others tested it and faced that problem

i went over all the settings and got a dead end

i am not sure what the problem is. Database error?
