What do you guys think about this kind of tool?
http://www.bcltechnologies.com/document ... gellan.htmWhat's the point, when you will just end up using one peice of microsoft software to produce a piece of work and then converting it. Why not just use Front Page if you want Microsoft's world renowned accuracy...I am going to take a look at it. On the surface it looks like a great application. The other person asked "What's the point?" It would be a great tool for what I am looking for. I have a non-profit organization website that I am maintaning. There is one person that makes newsletters and uploads them. However, PDF files can take a while to Download if you are on dialup. It it will let him convert to HTML easily he would not have to learn how to use FrontPage, or learn how to write HTML. (He is an older guy who is doing good to know how to use a computer let alone learning a new lanuguage like HTML no matter how simple.) He could just create it or if it would create it on the fly it would be even better. I will certainly look into it.
ThanksYeah, for that it would be useful.Granted that would be useful, I have also seen Text to HTML..
and PDF to html... would not those do the same...?I would like to know more about the PDF to HTML that Jerry M mentioned. I looked at the applicaton that started this thread and while it looks like a good program, I am working with a website that is for a non-profit organization and I cannot afford $200 for an applicaton like that. Does anyone know of a way that you can convert PDF to HTML or PHP with PHP and be able to do it on the fly? In other words as a PDF file is uploaded to the server as a newsletter it would be converted to an HTML or PHP page? Not certain but....
I did a quick search, and at the above URL, you can enter in the URL of choice, to a pdf file, and it will convert to HTML and show it in your browser. I will look for others.
But the search was [free pdf to html] and I did it with Metacrawler.com...

Another, this may cost, however they say it is free, do not know how...
