Not sure if this is the correct place for this topic, but it is domain name related so I figured it would fit.
For the last few years, we have been doing monthly automated whois lookups on our client's domain names to update our client db with the expiration date and to send out renewal reminders 90,60 and 30 days prior to the expiration date. However, as most of you are aware, many registrars now use captcha image for the whois to stop automated submissions. For our clients, it only takes a few seconds to run. Its just very convenient as some of our clients renew their own domains and this way our db is automatically updated without my having to look it up manually and update our db - that would be very time consuming every month to do.
I am wondering what the rest of you do or if you have know of a server that will allow automated submissions.
