Can someone add attachments from their hard drive to an email being sent through an asp site via cdosys? If so, how?I saw an example in here, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.w3schools.com/asp/asp_send_email.aspThanks">http://www.w3schools.com/asp/asp_send_email.aspThanks</a><!-- m --> but I believe the attachment there is sending an attachment from the web server as opposed to the sender's hard drive, which is what I want to do. Am I missing something?
Either way, I appreciate the help....You need to use an upload COM object to get it on the server then send it as an attachment.Yeah that is ultimately what I did...then I deleted the file.remember servers have no access to files on user systems.
