asp.net web api using basic http authentication only working locally?

I'm using this code with web forms and it works great locally but doesn't work on the live server with 2003 iis6http://www.piotrwalat.net/basic-http-authentication-in-asp-net-web-api-using-message-handlers/Any ideas? or other code suggestions?locally the authentication works, on the live server authentication doesn't validate. just keeps asking for the un/pwNo errors.Thanks
