ASP.Net Java and VB

I get a really funny feeling that ASP.net is really more about VB and trying to be like JSP Am I wrong or just seeing things. I think it is a much better improvement than the current ASP though.And does any one know what the Java guys are up to in response<BR>Thank youCould not agree more
