What do you mean, it 'cannot' display in message?
Make sure the emoticon you are trying to post (i.e
) is actually configured in your vB ACP, and then make sure the the image is actually in the place you say it is.
To view the smilies you currently have, log in to your ACP. On the left scroll down to Smilies -> Click -> Smilie Manager. Click on the Title of your smilie category (Most probably Generic) then click on the Smilie(s) that do not show. Check to see you are getting the letter combination right (Maybe you've got it as :smile instead of : )) Then check to see if the image path is right.
If the image path is right, then chances are the smilies are not in that folder. In that case you will need to upload them to the path specified.
