Hi guys, I was just rambling through my head of different link building strategies and was thinking along the lines of an article directory submission idea..
Here it is,
Instead of just submitting ysubmitting sub pagesour home page, has anyone tried as well..? Like for instance, lets say your home page is about Haunted Houses. You submit your home page but you also submit 5 other sub pages that are from your domain but have different ideas behind them..
For Instance,
Home page - Learn what a haunted house is about.
Sub pages: Scariest haunted houses, how to build a haunted house, etc
Guess my question is, does this benefit at all of having directories point to different pages of your site? and do directories ALLOW THIS?? Quote: Originally Posted by cwebbatya

But most of the time, article directories limit link text on the content to eliminate multiple links post (which is actually a bad idea). That's why they create a resource section to give credit on the article's author, that's actually the right section for anchor text. Put your anchor text and website in a natural on the resource box. I see that most of the article sites limit in 500 words in author box and no more then 2 links allow. Maximum no of links allowed in these article directories vary between 2-3 In addition multiple links, even if allowed, will limit the number of people who are willing to publish your article on their site. That multiple publication is the only way you get any real bang for your time and effort. Guess my question is, does this benefit at all of having directories point to different pages of your site? and do directories ALLOW THIS?? I've been trying this. You can have the links in the resource box point to wherever you like. From my research it is a great idea to link to inner pages and Googs does give you a tick for these links.
Article Directories vary on Links/HTML allowed - what a pain that is. How do these article submitters do it, I wonder.
ArticleRich will give you 2 links in the article, 3 in the resource box and I paid a very small amount and the articles get approved very quickly. The headman there even fixed up a couple of things. Very impressed with them. good info. Quote: Originally Posted by cwebbatya [...]does this benefit at all of having directories point to different pages of your site? and do directories ALLOW THIS?? Yes, you can benefit from that. That can make your deep links gain a few backlinks. There are few directory sites that allows deep linking submissions. Try to search some on Directory Listing websites.
But the best way to gain few backlinks on your subpages is by means of social bookmarking and link baiting. yes. most article submission sites allow 3 links in there resource page. Yes, it is because you can have a good rank for your different pages of your site and can be spread out in the whole site. I Think All the Article Directories Allow the 3 Link in Resource box. You put link the Sub page and Home Page Also. Yup it does have its benefits, although that means double efforts as well.. =) Yes you can make the article directory point to your website. There is no such issue in it and it is really helpful.
