Are Frames against SEO?

Hi, I recently read a SEO article saying that frames are against SEO. It is also said that Frames will confuse Google crawler. Another thing is that when people try to search for some keyword and manage to find your site, google will lead that user directly to that frame page instead of the main index page and hence you may lose some navigation etc.In other word, I dont think there's any problem with google crawling your site. the problem lies in when user find your site, google will lead them to the individual page instead of the main page with the navigation etc.Hope that helps.Frames are basically a dead technology. There's no reason to use them and you will definitely be hurt in terms of SEO.There is really no reason to use frames these days.
