We have requested work from a PHP4 guru but have begun development ourselves. Any suggestions on a viable architecture for a web hosting user control panel? Access would be on 2 levels - the site would have a site admin that has access to such things as add FTP users, add email accts, acct control basically - email users would use a webmail solution. Site admin could add/remove users that could edit directories the site admin gives them control of...We need it validate site admin based on the shadow pw file, but individual users shouldn't have access aside from FTP if site admin authorizes it, and a subset of tools specified by the site admin. Individual mySQL db's per site, or a global DB for each server or a centrally located DB...When users sign up all info would be stored on a central server/DB.
