hi, i own a site called desktopvillage and recently i have started work to turn it into a pay site where users can buy the download code for a certain wallpaper and then enter the code into a java applet or html form which will then download the correct file. (this is always a zip file).
it is this applet or form that i need designing for me as i have no experience in either html or java.
the applet must be...
a simple textbox which the user types the download code into, and a download button which looks at the code and starts to download the file depending on the code entered.
it needs unlimited, customizable codes and each code must download a separate file.
eg...
user enters 12345678 and the file testfile.zip is downloaded
user enters 12312312 and the file another.zip is downloaded
...the passwords must be encoded to stop the users from viewing the code and stealing the files.
if the user enters an invalid code 2 times they are returned to index.html
