Does anyone know why when i search google using the script on my site with an API licence i get about 100 times more results containing my site than when i search at google.com?Do they not both use the same database' and servers with the same search method?The Google site filters results (a little bit) to eliminate duplicate results. I suppose the rationale is "normal" surfers don't want to see multiple results for a single site.With the API you are accessing the database directly and getting unfiltered results.You can often see the duplicates if you go to advance search and view 100 sites at a time.Ahhh i see, makes sense.I sometimes find the infiltered results to be better, but thats probably because my site appears more in them lol.
