Hi!

Can anyone tell If Apache 2.2.3 is compatible with PHP 5.1.6 release. I went through the documentation on php.net and couple of other forums but could not get a definitive answer. It appears like it is not compatible on windows platform but there is nothing specific regarding the unix platforms. Also, there is absolutely no information on the php site for 2.2.X. Any links or informatin regading the same is greatly appreciated. I am more keen on the unix compatibility.

Thanks
Sharan. There is no reason why not. I'm running Apache 2.2.0 and PHP 5.1.2 in production- they haven't changed anything drastic in either of them since then.

It should all work, on Windows, Linux or anything else.

MarkThanks for the reply. I did go through a lot of forums online that pretty much said windows php 5.1.x is not compatible with apache2.2 but is supported in the development builds 5.2.x. please see the link below. Hence I had doubts on the compatibility with unix as well and wanted to find if it's supported. Like you said, I am able to configure and test the basic functionality but am not sure if there is any part that's not supported on apache2.2

Have not found any problems so far, and no complaints from customers.
