Just I wanted to know the difference between hit and click? Is there any.... I heard some says yes.thanks in advance. In what context?A click is when someone actually clicks on the add a hit is just when someone views your pageHi,Hit can be any filetype (.gif, .css, .js)....a Visit is typically a hit on a page, like .html, .php, etc. depending on the context.I think you would be not able to get the perfect answer for your excellent question.I think both are quite similar on their way.Puneet MThe answer may be a little different when talking about humans or robots and crawlers, also if talking about the adwords or text link ads.its still tricky--Hits Example:Say I have a web page (index.html), and on the page I have 3 graphics (1.jpg, 2.gif, 3.png).A hit is the count of requests for each individual resource, so bringing up that page in your browser would give me 4 hits - 1 for the page (.html), and one for each of the pictures (.jpg, .gif, .png)My site stats woud also record that as 1 visit.
