hey on one site i saw an hove effect where instead of just a dashed underline it WAS ANIMATED.. like it moved to the left and looped back around to right.. really nifty. any ideas as to how i do this?How about showing the site.

I can't say how it was done on a site I've never seen. Could have been a javascript or an animated gif or the whole page could have been a flash file.what would the js look like? can i get code that would do it? i know the page wasnt flash
