Animated Avatar/Gifs Not Moving On My Board!

I am trying to use:

As an avatar, but when I add it, it just remains frozen. Are there any options I'm missing in VB to have gifs play on my board?

The ability to use animated avatars can be turned on and off in the Admin CP. Also if the size of the animated file is a bit larger than what is allowed, it will not be animated anymore and will display as a static picture.
