I know its so darn important! It really hurts that I am such a terrible writer! It takes me forever to write a 500+ word article. I cannot believe that some of these people write hundreds of unique articles over a month or 2 and submit them to their blog and other article directories. Original content is great but there has got to be a better solution for me so i can use my time doing other SEO things.
Any ideas? If writing does not flow from your finger tips to the keyboard then you might consider hiring someone that has that ability. You are going to need to pay a decent per word price to get a decent article. The articles you want don't sell for 2-3 bucks for 500 words.
I am going to leave it to others with the ability to discuss fair market rates for quality writing.

Having a website is not a big deal, anyone can have it, but having a good websites is a point. if your website looks merely like a brochure that looks attractive but does nothing than your website is good for nothing. I remeber when I uploded websites with keywords in meta, title, headings and just 3 lines of relevant text on the homepage. With some basic SEO for incompetative keywords you could be on top of the SERP's in no-time and stay there for a long time without even adding any new content. Those dauys are indeed over...you need to add content on a regular basis.
