something I've wondered for a while.why is that amazon search pages show up so often high in the SERPS, even in really competitve keyphrases?example:google for "final fantasy"5,450,000 results. every site on the first page has a PR of 5 or 6 with hundreds of backlinks.except for amazon's page which rests in the top 10 with 0 backlinks.how on earth are they getting it up there? do you think google DOES allow paid placement but doesn't advertise it?amazon has buko backlinks.Exactly...alot of the serps are based on the actual homepage's PR. The larger the homepage PR, the better the positioning in the serps.
