Alternatives To Rendering Math With Texvc?

I am given to understand from here that TCH doesn't support texvc. Does anyone know of another way I might go about implementing math rendering that doesn't require compiling something like texvc? Thanks!
Please open a ticket with the help desk. This is a server related question and the moderators are volunteers and cannot answer it for you.

Thanks
If you do open a ticket, and you do find out that texvc can be installed, I know there are at least a few other users (including me) who would like to know. I've been down this path before with no luck. Understandably, the people who run things here cannot just add things like this anytime a shared-server user asks. However, maybe enough requests from enough interested people might get them to consider it.

Curious...are you looking for texvc or an alternative so that you can run MediaWiki?
What is the application you need it in? Is this something that you just want to put on a web page and could use a gif file for or is it something that visitors need to be able to enter as a rendered formula?
I found this site that will allow you to hotlink to images created there.

QUOTE

I grant you a license to do the following:

* Use these expressions as a user (tutor or student) on algebra.com.
* Generate images manually and download and use them on your personal or commercial website, or for your math works (homework etc), as long as you host them on your server.
* Refer to these images by hotlinking *on your personal math pages.

Any heavy or commercial use of hotlinked images is subject to licensing. Licensing is not expensive and there are no onerous terms. The objective is to compensate me for bandwidth. I like my system and want people to use it.

I also found this site that shows how to do math formulas with HTML and CSS.

Ideally, I'd like a pleasant way to depict mathematical formulae.

QUOTE(Deverill @ May 9 2006, 07:37 PM)

What is the application you need it in?
