I am running redhat 7.0 kernel 2.2.17 with ex2fs as the filesystem. I have a three gb database that I have to work with, so I cannot use ex2fs for the data directory. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a good filesystem alternative for ex2fs. I am aware that riserfs is not supported in the 2.2.x kernel, and only marginally supported in the 2.4.x kernel. Any ideas would be appreciated
