ALT tag on images... how many words? on every image?

Hello, I 'm John.I thought I can change my ID later, but I found out I cannot do that. So I'm stuck with my fake name This question is about ALT tag on the image.1. Should I use only one word each on each image? or two?2. I have hundreds of pictures on my web site, is it OK to have all my pictures to have the ALT tags? I am worried that repeating same words over many pictures can make google angry.Anything regarding ALT tag will be appreciated.
