A Quick Qestion :
In alt and title : how long we can put ? any limit ?
Javaid: There used to be a limit where the engines 'preferred' shorter alts and titles. After all, who in their right mind would have something that was over 250 characters ? Of course the whole secret of SEO is to appear natural so the engines dont think you are trying to game them. alt should be shorter then title.
i would put the keyword on alt. and for title may be a short description.
i never seen a set character limit mentioned anywhere though. Google may consider the first 66 chars in webpage title and
yahoo may consider the first 100 to 120 chars.Title length can vary according to the different search engines. Normally I suggest people not to exceed the limit of 125 characters for an Alt attribute. The shorter the better. Though there is no such specification for the maximum length of alt attribute. Normally title and alt varies from search engine to search engine but I generally suggest you to maintain a standard of 60 characters for both alt and title.
