I submitted my site to google nearly a month ago and I still haven't been indexed. I have a few incoming links (at least I think i do) and no robot.txt file to block google. I submitted a sitemap about a week ago and still nothing on the crawl stats. I'm not sure if I angered google or what.I emailed some other sites asking them to exchange links with me and they didn't reply. I'm not sure what I should do at this point. Any advice from anyone to first get google to pay me a visit and then to improve my google ranking and get some incoming links for my site? The site is http://www.chibabeat.comsit and wait. It takes time.well I guess that's better than hearing that I need to get a new domain because my site is banned or something like that. Is there any good advice you can give for a solid method to increase those inbound links?Submitting to directories should be something you do with a new site. You can get inbound links even though nobody has heard of you.It looks like google has your homepage indexed.peachy wrote:ozzu puts a rel="nofollow" attribute to signatures so bots don't follow them. But i get quite a lot of traffic from links in my sig on ozzu.Something like what I have done now good? Thanks for that advice everyone. I will to my best to increase the back links to my site.Hey Peachy,The links in your sig look good. You may also want to write some articles (based on your site's content) and submit them to the free article directories. This can also increase your backlinks, and since many article directories are frequently spidered by the SEs, help them to find and index your site. For Google in particular, though...patience is a virtue. HTH,Sam
