I run a fairly popular article directory and currently I add featured images to the submitted articles manually - the same time as checking the quality.However, more and more submissions are coming in so this is getting extremely time consuming, so I would like users to be able to upload their own featured image for their post which would then be pulled in and put next to their article in the article list view.I am confident I will be able to include the upload functionality, so people will be able to upload their image to a folder I set, but how do I link this up with the article and make the image show in the articles list?If you need to see any code please let me know, I've tried having a go but I don't know where to start, and a Google search only returns WordPress results
