All Hex Codes for Usergroups?

not all Hex color codes work for usergroup colors.
anyway to change?
i've searched and none seem to be working

AdminCP => Usergroups => Usergroup Manager => Edit Usergroup => Username HTML Markup

Place the opening HTML tag in the first box and the closing HTML tag in the one right next to him.

where color shows as hex just put your color there but make sure the ; stays put.

For anyone else with the same issue, this is basic html. When using the hex codes in conjunction with <font> you ALWAYS need the #.
