hi i'm new on the alert function. so can any body teach me 1 or 2 things abt this alert function?? for example, how to set the parameter for the alert and for example, having an alert and when the alert is on, send a sms to other????You cannot use any sort of alert function (you can't really deal with the client's browser) with asp.net because asp.net run's on the server. To use the alert function you would need client side javascript. If you are talking about an executable application this is a different story.
