We recently installed ASP.Net on our system. We have a SQL database running our website that we connect to with ASP. Now it does not work after the installation. I receive the following error page:

The page cannot be displayedThe page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be
displayed.

Please try the following:
Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Open the g2.hqda.army.mil home page, and then look for links to the
information you want.
HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error
Internet Information Services

Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80040E09)
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]SELECT permission denied
on object 'ASP_PAGE_SETTINGS', database 'DAMIWEB', owner 'dbo'.
/scripts/database.asp, line 157

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)
Page:
GET /sgm.asp
Time:
Wednesday, April 24, 2002, 11:53:30 AM
More information:
Microsoft Support

The SELECT permissions are all correct so I assume it's an object connection issue but am not sure how to remedy it.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.is there any particular reason why you're using ODBC instead of OLEDB? Check the permission settings for the account ASP is running on. Check the permission settings for that specific object to see if something has somewho been modified... check check check
