Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find a script that will let me run my own advertising network, like advertising.com (maybe not as big and not as expensive). This could be PHP or Perl and use a text databasr but preferably mySQL. If anyone could help me out I'd be greatful.
Thank You,
PaulWhy was this post moved here?are you wanting to do a banner rotation in an iframe? or connection to the server for a rotation via client when a page is viewed? (pop-up)

i need some more info (i think i know what you are looking for)
chris<pixelmonkey>:monkey:It's almost like a rotation. I put the banners in a script and users call it with an IFRAME> I than pay each member based on how many views they had of my banners (CPM).
Thank You,
Paulyou might want to check perlaccess.com (as soon as it's active again) for a .pl script. I know i have seen this file for rotation (simple and small, around 30 lines of code)

just keep an eye on the network as we get everything running again!

Onl 30 lines? You might be thinking of something else as that seems a little short. Maybe I didn't explain it correctly. I want to run my own advertising network where I pay people for displaying my banners. I want to pay based on a CPM basis. I also need multiple advertisers that will pay me to pay publishers. Maybe this is the code you were reffering to, but 30 lines of code seems a little small.
Thank You,
Paulyou have permission to throw something somewhat soft at me! :D i know the script you are looking for does exist, but the only one i have on file doesnt do the CPM count.

keep checking and trying perlaccess.com

Well thank you I will look through Perl Access once it's back up. Anyone else know where a script like this could be, I've searched hard before and found nothing under $500 dollars.
Thanks,
Paulhey, heres a great script... run your own advertising campaing or banner exchange, uses imression expiration, ioframe, or javascript or ssi, you can choose

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://awsd.com/scripts/webadverts/Thanks">http://awsd.com/scripts/webadverts/Thanks</a><!-- m --> but I'm allready use this script but I need something that will pay my affiliates.

PaulI guess no one knows of something like this. Maybe someone is good in perl and knows how to modify web adverts to do this. I would really appreciate any help. If you help me hack web adverts I will give a % of what I earn in the first couple months.
Thank You,
Paulheres something to help you hack cgi scripts, they hack scripts for you for free, a friend told me about this site, I didn't go to it because I *think* they do some illegal hacking
