i have adsense on my site (taylorhewitt.com) and got about 3.83 canadian yesterday. is that good for my first day? and the thing is most of it is from friends who clicked on it so what i want to know is why would any sane person click on an ad? i mean what does it gain them. i really wanna have some success from this thing and hopefully get 100 dollars by the end of the month.Believe me..people will click those adds.Don't make your friends click your adds. You'll end up getting banned. Why throw away a good steady income from adds by playing dirty. If you have great content and a lot of people visiting your pages the money will be rolling in - guranteed. The reason why you can't see why people would want to click those adds is because you know the Internet too well. I myself very seldom click adds, but it is my experiense that people with less knowledge of the Internet will do exactly that. I prefer searching for the info I am interested in and only in special cases click obvious adds. People who don't see the adds as adds will click because they are genuine interested in the topic and want to find out more.I didn't tell my friends to click on the ads. They did and told me it was them. One of them spent an hour clicking. I got 800 clicks and not even 4 bucks. Ain't that sumthin...The thing is in 10 months I've gotten less than 5000 hits. That isn't very good is it? I didn't make my site for money I made it for myself, but I have some sub sites in the making ...yeah tell em not to click on them much couse you might get banned. BTW I just got my check from them. and is very nice check. You should really tell your friends not to click on them because this can result in smart pricing and reduces your revenue.Well if they click as much as you said they do but when clicking once in a while as an return visitor would do is just a extra bonus for you My suggestion: Make a lotttt of friends I got 26 cents from one click this morning. So what your saying is, build a good website that should get alot of traffic , make sure the content is good , and sit back while you have checks sent to you????. sounds like my kind of job!!!! Just because somebody does it alot doesn't make me the offender.Quote:Taylor Hewitt wrote:I guess you are right. I shouldn't be rude. I've been having a bad couple of days but that's nobody's fault.Anyway I just don't like being accused of things that aren't true. I see no reason why my account would be banned. I broke no rules so.I didn't accuse you of anything. The reason why your account may be banned is due to your "friends", not necessarily anything you've done. By attempting to "help" you, they may be inadvertantly harming you. You didn't break any rules, but your friends did through your site. So THEIR actions may get your account closed (as far as Google's concerned, it's your site, your responsibility - I've seen it happen before).Oh yeah. I'll tell em not to do that anymore. Wait I already did. k thanks!
