I have seen both adsense and adwords terminology being used from the same website. I always thought they were the same, hope this only my thouth. So which one between the both you prefer mostly and why? They are slightly different.Adwords - You can bid for positioning on keywords within Google's search engine and a few major partners. The regular ppc. Google gets all the ppc revenue.Adsense/Content Search - Adsense is a term used for publishers. You could start a site selling custom widgets. If a custom widget advertiser on the Google network decides he/she would like to advertise through Google PPC and/or sites like yours, he would sign up for Content Search. These content search ads would then be placed on your site as Adsense. With content search, Google gets some of the revenue, and you, the publisher, also get a cut of the revenue, because the advertisers ads are on your site.http://www.google.com/services/adsense_tour/index.htmlAdsense is what we get from Google....Adwords is what we pay to Google.I prefer Adsense when it comes to earning and Adwords when it comes to getting traffic. lolThey are both owned by the same company, but are used for different things when it comes to doing webmaster stuff and earning online.do i require a minimum PR to be approved by adsense?Nope, you just need to submit your site and get approved. Make sure it is totally finished, no errored links or under construction pages.Make sure your site is not violating any rules...pornography or anything. And if you do get approved, DO NOT click on your own ads. They monitor for this, once you get caught, your banned, and you will probably never be able to do the program again, especially since your account is linked to your SSN.If clicks to adsense comes through different IP's then will it get problem to our account ?There are many webmasters doing tricks to get more from adsense...does anyone knows whats that ?If there are so many clicks from the same IP address, Google will ban your account also. Some people who hate a website did use this method to ban that website's owner. Anyone knows how to prevent this by the way?Well, if you ever see that type of thing happening to your account, maybe a very, very high CTR on ads that is not common to your site, then you need to report it to Google. This way it shows that it's not you and to have them look into it.I submitted my blog to adsense. But it didnot approve.Probably because of less number of back links. Can i submit it again?vetofunk wrote:I do not want adsense at all...But wondering how Shoemoney and some other guys make such huge amount from adsense...
