With Adsense placement can you get in to "troube" with your choice ofad location?egHere my adsense is "dangerously" close to a menu that is used tonavigate through all the pages within that section of the site (next and previous). The other end of the ad unit is where the "next" link is.While working on this new layout, I have quite a few times nealy clicked an ad by mistake.Or is anything "fair game"?You can't really get in trouble with your adsense location as long as it conforms to the TOS. What could get you in trouble is clicking on your own ads (whether it's by accident or not).Yeah, I know that Axe. nealy = nearlyYou would not get into trouble for it, in my oppinion it's a smart move and a nice bit of adsense optimazation display. The visitor would automaticly draw their attention to the add, there's no stopping that.Got to keep that one in mind Thanks for sharing Iclick on my adds by accident..... holy crap. Hope they dont kill me. Anyways like reaper said very good location to have adds. I usally keep em right on top of the conten. This graphic from the AdSense help pages is always worth bearing in mind:In this "footprint" the darker areas achieve more results. For many moons my ads have been way up in the top right (one of the worst places according to this). As most of my text content lies further down beneath the fold, these ads are virtually invisible.I have recently moved them in to the "hot zones" and it seems to behaving an effect already.SugarKane has the chart above, which usually works out great. You could also test each area separately and see where it works out best for you.
