If I display a leaderboard (3 ads) does that count for 1 ad impression or 3?1 ad impression is for one ad unit. Not the indiviidual adverts in them... Thus it would count as 3.1 leaderboard (displaying 1-5 ads) = 1 ad unit impression + 1 page impression2 leaderboards (top + bottom of page with 1-5 ads) = 2 ad unit impressions, 1 page impressionThis is why people with 3 ad units, 1 link unit and 4 products on a page experience extremely low CTR due to having so many on one page.The message is do not clutter adsense units all over your page but look at strategically placing 1, 2 or maybe 3 at most (of all types) on the page to try and maintain a higher CTR on ad impressions.
