Hi everyone, I was wondering how I would go about adding some custom attributes onto a .dtd.
I have a script that uses these attributes and it works perfectly, but the validator just spits out an error every time a non-standard attribute is used. I just need the validator to say it's valid.
Is it possible to have a .dtd file that includes an already existing XHTML .dtd and then has the new code tacked on the end? Oh and, rather than say "Valid XHTML 1.x" would it also be possible to get it to say "Valid XHTML 1.x Modified" or something?
I've written an ALA article about this script, but I don't want to submit it if it's not valid in one form or another.
