Adding a skin to a heavily modded board

My site has alot of mods to it... Id like to add a new skin.. Is there an easy way to get all the mods to work wit the new skin. Or do I have to edit the new skin templates?
 
If the mod requires template editing, yes; you will have to add them in for every style.

You could always just copy and paste the template into the new style.

That wouldnt change the look of the new style?
 
if you have 2 different headers for example then it will change the look of the new style.

I always copy them before I edit, that way if I screw it up I can revert to the original ( which I have done alot of :p)
 
if you know your HTML and you have your instructions or read me's of all your mods you have installed (WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KEEPING!)
it should be no issue to update all the templates within a couple of hours.
