Adding a blog to my website

I'm just looking for some advice before I actually do this. What is the easiest way to add a blog to my website? I don't really want to use wordpress as I have a design for my website that I created myself that I like. However if there was some way incorporate a wordpress blog into my existing design then I would be open to doing this.Any ways I can read into will be appreciated
