Accessing a UserControl from the aspx page

I have a UserControl that is setup to run all of my navigation through a number of tabs. The rest of the site is run in an iframe that is loaded by the UserControl. What I want to do now is when I use the back button I want to send a call to the UserControl telling it what Tab to highlight. <BR><BR>If anyone has any sugestions I would like to hear them. <BR><BR>Thank you
