Hi everyone, I'm a newbie in SEO and I'm not clean about backlink, so I have some question to ask you guys. Google count a backlink only one per site, right? I mean you can't have 2 backlink in 1 same site? Because when I check my site backlink, I don't see any site that appear 2 time in the result.
Second, website get the backlink is when someone click the link back to your site or you just need to post a link to that website? you can have many backlinks, the more backlinks much better. It helps to increase site rankings.. Thats not true...you can have as many backlinks from one site as possible...More backlinks from a website will increase your credibility in eyes of search engine and you will be ranked higher for a perticular keyword...and btw backlink is formed when the backlink page is indexed by search engine and it finds your backlink on that page..and it has nothing to do with the number of people which have clicked that backlink..your backlink will still be formed even if nobody clicks that backlink You dont get backlinks from websites, rather from pages... This clearly means you can get more than one backlinks from one website.
And Yes, there is possibility for a website getting two listings. In such cases, websites are same but web pages are different. back links is one factor for improving ur website pr, but good back links is also help for website pr so if I have a forum account and that account had more than 600 posts, what will happen if I change the signature and put my site link at it?
