I have a question about building backlinks. When I create backlinks for the main page of my website, does Google take into consideration that backlink for all my other webpages? Does that one backlink count into the pagerank of all my other pages? This one link would only be for your home page. While a backlink pointing to your homepage would be counted for just your home page and pass PR to just your homepage, if you link to your other pages from your homepage, you will transfer some PR to those pages. Yes - if you only have links to your homepage, then, as the above poster said this will transfer PR into other pages crawlable from your homepage. If you can deep link to other pages within your site however, do so.
