<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://knights.europe.webmatrixhosting.net/index.html">http://knights.europe.webmatrixhosting.net/index.html</a><!-- m --> I redid my homepage with css (well hybrid table and css) I ended up using tables to position some things due to some ie bugs I found that were messing everythign up. I could get my site working perfectly on opera and mozilla with out them but they are just there so it will work on ie. Well tell me what you think, hows it look on your computer? Does everything line up alright? I previewed it at 800 by 600 1024 by 786 and at 1152 by 864. I did not go any higher (because I am almost positive it would work and I dont want to change my screen settings). I also previewed it on opera mozilla and ie6. How does it look on other platforms and older browsers? Know any good sites where I can see how it performs on other platforms? I learned a lot of new stuff css while making this so I am sort of proud of myself. Oh and, I already ran It through the css validator and It turned out good, It was basically only ranting that scrollbar- anything isnt a valid property, But I already knew that.I think it looks really good man! You did a great job I think. Yeah also if someone answers you about a site for seeing if you site works with other platforms I would also be interested in that! lol just follow this thread then.im running Windows ME, IE6, 800x600 and it looks just fine...(go homestar runner! )
but ive seen that mouse cursor before....whered you get it? Here it is:I stole it from a friend a while back but I heard he got it at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cometcursors.com">http://www.cometcursors.com</a><!-- m --> (I have an arrafat cursor on my desk top that I got from there, I could not find saddam or bin laden on that site though ) By the way da warriah, I went to your site and the line on the bottum above the copy right doesnt extend all the way over to the right, just a minor detail that I thought I would point out... Your site looks nice too My the server has been down for maintenance for an hour or so... this is annoying. So if you get a 404 its because the server is not online. But when it comes back I want some more feed back I have to know how my site fairs under almost all conditionsOriginally posted by PeOfEo

yeah you must be looking at it in mozilla/netscape/any other browser other than IE...i designed it in IE (stupid me) and now it ONLY looks good in IE, and, well, not as good in any other browser...anyways im still working on it, glad you like it thoSort of oppoite from me I had the same html doc open in all three of those while I was deisgning and I would save and refresh them all to see if what I just did worked or whatever and it would work in opera and mozilla but never ie, I had to dumb down everything for it. Like those stupid tables were only necessary because of ie and well it took me a long time to figure out that I needed to leave images out of a div and use absolute psitioning because ie could not figure out the meaning of the word relative... I completly hate ie now, I used to be alright with it but it just pissed me off and turned what should have been an hours worth of work into 4 hours of work trying to figure out ways around ies little quirks and screw ups.Site looks ok to me. I somewhat question the color scheme, however. For instance, on the input boxes on the left, why don't you change the color to the aqua blue that you use. It's kinda hard to see. Also, it seems like you're using two slightly different colors of that aqua blue - one for the "IP logged" text and one for links. Maybe use one? Actually, now that I think about it, it's all a little dark for me. And although I like the new mouse pointer, it doesn't really fit the color scheme.
Just my two cents...
And since we're doing a little peer-review session here, feel free to comment on my site:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.The17thDegree.comThe">http://www.The17thDegree.comThe</a><!-- m --> mouse poitiner looks like the cursor in starcraft thats why I used it. Also the ip logged thing has the same color as the links. I wanted links to stnad out so I made them bright and the boarders and text are a bit dark.Groovy =P
The only thing I might suggest is getting rid of the browser window scrollbar. It's pretty much useless since everything goes on in the central window thing.
Good show old bean! I say, wot? Cup of tea?
-Wozzahuh? You must be viewing at 800 X 600 Yes they get a vertical scroll bar. It wont happen at any other reolution but it isnt too annoying and I think working around it would be tough. Also the window is called an Iframe Thanks for the compliment though.hi. you might remember me...
well, i'd have to say bravo. looks real cool, and the cursor is a nice touch. nothing else to say... i don't wanna be a nitpicker.
[of course it looks good, i have 1400x1050]MUCH better than before.Lol I viewed it on a school comp (IE 5.3 something) and well it still functioned but it looked like CRAP. Like the images were over stretched some of them and it just looked terrible. I am fortunate that version of ie5 is probably not used anyware but my school because it sucks hard. Needless to say I put mozilla (ahhh mozilla, my fav browser) on my comp there.Very nice site. The layout is good, the colors work nicely.
Props!!!ty. I am being a bit of a complement whore I guess but who cares.
