a major problem...

When any of my users (including me) trys to upload a custom avatar.

Go to the avatar page, click browser, choose the image you want, then click submit, but all that comes up is a blank white page. I've tried moving the custom avatars out and in of the db but still doesn't work. What should i do?

check the path to your upload folder if it is correct in admincp, also check if the upload folder has the write permissions , to use the costum avatars.

the upload folder is correct, and has 755 permissions
 
go to ACP> Avatar > avatar manager> avatar permissions

check the permissions for your custom gallaries , also see if the path is has no " / " at end and start in your path setting for avatar it shout be like this : images/avatars :


Also check the user gourp permissions in the acp, user group managment
 
the first thing you said, the stock avatars work fine, the problem is when i try to upload custom avatars.

second, i have double-checked the permissions, and users are allowed to use custom avatars.
