I have a three part question.<br />

1. what is the biggest advantage for a login situation on your site? Is it just for password protection. I mean, I see some sites with it that dont have anything of real value to hide anyway.<br />

2. How do some sites you go to, make you log in each time in order to access certain pages. How do they do that? How do they know you arent logged already and they can send you to the log-in page automatically. How does this work?<br />

There are many sites that do this and have NO value to it at all - their usage will be drastically lower because of this.<br />
